Feel The Norse Spirits - Embrace the Viking way of life and pay tribute to the brave warriors that came before you with this Handmade Long Haft Viking Axe. It is more than a functional object; it is a beautiful expression of a bygone period. This Viking axe is an impressive piece for any collection or an original present for Dad on Father's Day.
Sharp Bladed Handmade Axe - This axe, made by hand in Nepal by born blacksmith who have mastered age-old forging processes, is a genuine effort of love. Expertly forged from 5160 carbon steel, the 11-inch blade is very tough and long-lasting. The blade is partially hand etched, displaying delicate motifs that lend an air of refinement to its otherwise harsh appearance. This axe comes built-sharpened, so you can swing it with devastating force and pinpoint accuracy straight away.
Intricate Haft with Solid Grip for Heavy Blows - The Rosewood full tang handle measures 15 inches in length and provides a firm and stable grip. Because of its long haft, this axe is extremely effective for many practical needs and in competition because of the greater leverage and control it provides. You may feel the force and pride of ancient Viking warriors flowing into you as you swing this axe.
Sturdy Sheath for Protection - The axe's 12-inch scabbard makes it easy and secure to transport and store. The scabbard, made from cottonwood and wrapped in leather, has two purposes: it safeguards the blade and also lends an air of authenticity to the knife's overall design. The scabbard protects your axe from the elements and keeps it handy whether you're showing it off or using it in the wide outdoors thanks to its solid build and careful attention to detail.
Mix of Aesthetics, Functionality and Strength - The 1300-gram weight of the axe head is an excellent mix of functionality, Aesthetics and strength. Its heft lends the muscle required for effective chopping without hampering the user's ability to remain nimble and accurate. The total weight of the axe, sheath included, is 1600 grams, making it manageable even for long periods of time.
Feel the raw strength and classic elegance of this unique axe. Get yours now to experience a voyage of Viking lore, craftsmanship, and the will to win that has inspired generations.
Care and Maintenance:
1. Apply machine/gun or motor oil/lubricant to the blade surface at least once a month or after each usage. Avoid fingerprints after oiling the blade.
2. To remove rust, first clean the blade with gasoline, then use fine sandpaper, wipe it clean, and apply oil. A buff machine can polish rust-infected areas.
3. To keep your knife looking new, sometimes use shoe polish for leather sheaths, furniture wax for wood, Brasso for brass fittings, and Silvo for silver.
4. In case of the Dragon blade, scrub it with a toothbrush dipped in petrol and wipe it clean before displaying.
5. The small blunt knife Chakmak (small knife with Kukris) sharpens on both sides. For faster and better results, use a sharpening stone.
6. While on display, clean dirt, waste products, etc. often picked up by the blade's surface with a soft dry towel and kept away from water and damp.
7. Oil the blade heavily, wrap it in plastic with food wrap, or polythene (no air pockets), and keep it out of the scabbard before storing it. Same with both small knives.
8. Store the knife dry at room temperature.
